Sunglasses
As I mentioned recently, I bought new sunglasses and have enjoyed them thoroughly! They work very well and are so much fun for pictures! Here Rob and I enjoy them while we were "multitasking" in taking up some stuff after Katy's birthday...

At the park 2 and ending highlights
I bought new sunglasses as my old pair was stepped upon and broke. Just had to try them out at the park!
Jack and Granny. It is so hard to make Granny smile!
Our last meal...
Looking back, I realize that we always know exactly what will happen when we go down South, and we look forward to it. We truly shop 'til we drop, go to the park, golf course, and church, have picnics galore, eat at all times of the day, drive the golf cart and walk everywhere. It's a time to play games, tell the most appalling secrets(TM) and laugh. We love it. God is good.

Prayer for the Chapman Family
On Wednesday, Maria Chapman, the youngest of the Chapman children, was hit by a car in the driveway of her home. She died later that evening. We need to offer up prayer for her family as they grieve, but most of all for her elder brother who accidently hit her. We will not understand the grief he must be going through, but we can weep with him. Pray that he will draw nearer to God in this time of sorrow.

Washing of the feet
My sweet sister Katy came in one evening after I had been discussing with Mum how now I understand why in Bible times they just washed the feet at the end of the day because that was all they needed....
She walked in with a pot of water and a towel. She said, "Amber, can I wash your feet?" How could I refuse such a sweet request?! So I came, and she washed me feet ever so lovingly. As she did so I asked her "did Mummy put you up to this?"
"No, I thought of it on my own."
"Oh!" "did you do anyone else's?
"Yes, I did Mummy's and Daddy's and Jaclyn and Bobby's and yours."
"Thank you so much for thinking of it!" I love you, Katy."
"I love you, too."
As I got up from the beautiful ceremony, she asked me "now will you wash mine?"
